Hello Everyone and welcome to First Site! You signed a lease for the 2018/19 school year and payments are about to begin. Most payment plans start April 1, 2018, but check your lease to confirm. PLEASE REMEMBER… all payments must be made via the resident portal.

Security Deposit Return Information

Hi all current residents & co-signers! For most, move-out day is quickly approaching. Our security deposit procedure was explained during the lease signing process but, here is a quick Q & A about how it works: 

 

1. When will I receive my security deposit? 

Your check will be mailed (Minus damages, cleaning etc. - if any is needed as determined during your scheduled move-out day/time) within 30 days. 

 

2. Where will the check be mailed to?

It will be mailed to your home/parents address you listed on your student information sheet when you signed your lease.

Early Move-in News!

Sign a Summer/Fall/Spring Lease (12 Payments) or a Summer/Fall Lease (8 Payments)? 

 

If yes... your lease starts June 13, 2017 ... however you can move-in early! Early move-in day is Sunday, May 21, 2017. To qualify for this, simply have all roommates sign this form (Click me). There is a $75 fee per bedroom - please pay in office with separate checks at the time you submit the form.

 

Deadline to submit form and fee is March 1, 2017.

 

IMPORTANT: If you or your roommates are current First Site residents you DO NOT have to complete this form. You will transfer directly to your new apartment for 2017/18 between May 11th - May 21st.

ISU Enrollment increases and breaks another record

Illinois State University recently released their enrollment numbers and for a consecutive year, ISU has a record-breaking freshman class with a total of 3,638 students, making it the largest freshman class in 27 Years!

 

We anticipate that students will start their housing search for 2017/18 sooner than ever. We don't want anyone to rush, however, it will help to start researching your options now. Look at our availibility and stop by our office to meet with a Licensed Leasing Agent. Parking Stickers for 2014/15

Dear On-Campus Residents,

 

Joe’s Towing and Recovery will begin issuing parking stickers for the 2014-2015 school year. All residents with vehicles are required to have a parking sticker in order to park in the parking lot. Please refer to your lease to determine the number of parking spots you will receive.

 

Towing will begin as of 6 p.m. on August 22, 2014 and any vehicle parked in the lot without a sticker will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

West Wing Apartments - Buffalo Wild Wings

First Site has teamed up with Buffalo Wild Wings for our latest project, the West Wing. The West Wing is a new apartment complex conveniently located 3 seconds from campus on Main Street in Normal.

 

The building will feature a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant on the first floor with three levels of sleek and luxurious apartments located above. In this complex there is an array of different floor plans to choose from.  These units will be available to move in starting in August of 2015 and the Buffalo Wild Wings plans to open its doors in Spring of 2015. Snow Removal

Dear First Site Residents,

 

We would like to thank you for your patience with the snow removal process. Our area will be receiving between 6-10 inches today, Tuesday February 4, 2014. Our maintenance will be working diligently to make sure that your building and parking lots will be shoveled and plowed.

Dear Residents of 705 University: 

 

Your apartment is ready! You may move back into your apartment starting Friday, December 6th @ 9am. Our maintenance team will open the building doors at that time and you are free to access your apartment. If you are in a hotel… Please check-out at the front desk by 12/6/13 @ 11am. 

Since we will still be working on the roof at 705 University… we will continue to use the parking lot directly behind 703/705 for work materials, etc. Please continue to park in the extended First Site parking lot, which is behind 705 University. 703-705 University - Res Update

Dear Resident(s) of 703/705 University-

 

Fall Break is approaching and many of you will head home for the week. If this is the case… please check out of the hotel by visiting the front desk the day of your departure. Please take all of your belongings with you from the hotel.

 

We will give you an update early next week on the progress of the building and what you will expect upon your return.  We have started the re-building process (roof) and are working really hard to get you back to your apartment as soon as possible.

Dear Residents 703 & 705 University:

 

Our staff continues to make you a priority… here are a few updates:

 

- The city as a whole is still attempting to recover from the major storm. Our office phones and internet are still down therefore there will be times when you will be unable to reach us in the office.
