An update regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) for First Site residents:
Thank you for being a valued First Site resident. You're the reason we do what we do and come to work everyday with our mission in mind: To ensure our residents experience the highest quality of living possible by providing them with superior service, maintenance and selection. So I wanted to personally reach out to you regarding the current Coronavirus situation.
As I’m sure you’ve seen, there continues to be an influx of new information each day. So I appreciate the chance to update you on what we're doing right now at First Site to protect you, your family, friends and our employees.
First Site will remain open and will continue to operate with regular hours, policies and procedures. We are available 365 days per year. You have full access to your apartment and common areas at all times.
1. Cleaning common areas
I want to assure you that your safety and the safety of all of residents is top priority. Here are some of the measures we've taken in recent days:
• We have increased the amount of times our grounds crew cleans all common hallways, stairways, gyms and fitness centers, meeting rooms, common area bathrooms, laundry rooms and more. Our goal - in this time and always, is to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Our Uptown Normal office has increased the number of hand sanitizing dispensers. They can now be used at every table and meeting space, including our agents offices and front desk.
2. Use our app “Resident Portal”
If you haven't tried it yet, now is a great time to check out our Resident Portal app. Simply pay rent with a few clicks, ask a question and/or send maintenance requests regarding your building or apartment via the app as well.
